North Korea has issued four sets of stamps commemorating the three inter-Korean summits this year ― on April 27, May 26 and Sept. 18-20 ― the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Monday.
Their price ranges from 70 to 140 North Korean won, higher than the 40-50 won stamps issued to mark the North's 70th anniversary of its foundation.
This stamp, also commemorating the September summit, shows Korean letters placed to be shaped like the Korean Peninsula and the lyrics of the song "We are the One." KCNA-Yonhap
This stamp commemorates the May 26 summit in the North-controlled side of Panmunjeom. It contains the image of the "Unification flag" and phrases that read "Reconciliation and unity of the people" and "Peace and prosperity." KCNA-Yonhap.
This three-stamp set commemorates the April 27 summit in the South-controlled side of Panmunjeom. The first stamp, left, shows the full text of the Panmunjeom Declaration signed by South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The stamp in the middle shows Kim's message in the visitor's book. The third stamp shows a pine tree planted by the two leaders and a stone plaque near the tree. KCNA-Yonhap
